The popular magazine claims that the pop icon has been spending her days mostly drinking and sleeping. Apart from accusing Christina of being an alcoholic, the news report also claims that she has actually gained 65 pounds. People who are close to her have said that she is at present totally out of control and has garnered a bad reputation with the co-stars and crew of the reality show The Voice in which she is a judge and vocal coach to young aspiring singers. Most of the time she remains wasted which is just harming her image.

The tabloid also claims that the singer left her 4-year old son Max on his birthday to get drunk. A source in the magazine says that Christina lost her confidence and self-esteem when her marriage with Jordan ended in a divorce. The split makes her very sad and she tries to numb herself with alcohol and food when all the sad memories come up. Everyone around the pop star is worried and thinks that she really needs to get some help, to get her grip together before something more serious occur.

However, another entertainment blog claims that the news about Christina’s alcohol problems is false and that the image on the cover of the magazine is more than a year old. She is even recording her new album and working on her other projects and indeed seems to do pretty well. Christina also did spend time with her child on his birthday and there are photographs which show the mother and son together at Legoland.

Her latest album “Bionic” and film debut “Burlesque” were also poorly received and had several critical reviews. With all that is going on in her life, Christina commented that going through a failed marriage is difficult for anyone in public but when that person is a celebrity it makes things all the more difficult. She said that she had to develop a thick skin to put up with everything.

Christina, now having a son with her ex-husband Jordan, Max Liron insists that her new role as a single mother has played an important role in making her a stronger person. She feels that she now has new priorities and being a mother has helped her to understand herself better. Although she loves to entertain people and perform live in crowded auditoriums, she now believes that there is more to her than just her career.

Christina has now returned as one of the judges on NBC’s reality talent show “The Voice.” To go along with her workaholic ways, she is currently working on her next recording project. She is also working alongside World Food Programme, the food aid branch of United Nations, and helping them to raise funds for fighting hunger. Christina has stressed that the family and its values are top priority to her at the present moment.
